Export Capability Overview: Commodities, Grades, Packaging & Ports
One reference sheet covering every commodity and grade we source, the packaging formats and loading ports we work through, and the West Africa rice programme we have actually shipped — capability and track record kept clearly separate.
Commodity Scope

Grades are sourced through certified mill, processor and cooperative partnerships. Availability and price basis are confirmed per enquiry against season and origin.

| Millets | Pearl millet (bajra) · Finger millet (ragi) · Sorghum (jowar) · Foxtail millet |

Full specification sheets for each category are published under our commodity portfolio, with variety-level detail on the rice export pages.
Quality Parameters
How Grade Is Defined and Verified
Every parameter below is written into the sales contract before sourcing begins, then verified independently at the load port.
| Parameter | How It Is Handled |
|---|---|
| Moisture | Fixed per commodity and grade in the sales contract, verified at load port |
| Broken percentage (rice) | 5%, 10%, 25% and higher broken fractions quoted against the agreed tolerance |
| Purity / admixture | Stated as a maximum percentage per contracted grade |
| Sortex / cleaning | Single or double sortex where the buyer specifies it |
| Verification | Independent third-party pre-shipment inspection nominated by the buyer |
Packaging
Packaging Formats Available per Shipment
Bag material, weight, stitching and marking are agreed before sourcing so container utilisation and handling durability match the destination corridor.
| Format Group | Options |
|---|---|
| Retail formats | 1 kg · 5 kg · 10 kg PP / BOPP printed bags |
| Wholesale formats | 25 kg · 50 kg PP woven bags, plain or printed |
| Bulk formats | 1 MT FIBC jumbo bags |
| Alternative materials | Jute bags where the buyer or destination requires them |
| Private label | Buyer artwork, marking text and destination labelling applied before stuffing |
Material choice, printing and marking rules are detailed on the export packaging page.
Logistics
Loading Ports and Container Configuration
Port selection follows commodity origin, line schedule and destination service rather than a fixed default.
| Port / Parameter | Detail |
|---|---|
| Nhava Sheva (JNPT) | Primary west-coast gateway; used for confirmed West Africa rice shipments |
| Mundra | West-coast alternative; used for confirmed West Africa rice shipments |
| Kandla | West-coast option depending on commodity origin and line schedule |
| Chennai / Kattupalli | East-coast routing where cargo origin or destination service favours it |
| Container types | 20 FT (approx. 18–26 MT) · 40 FT (approx. 26–28 MT), subject to stowage |
