Trade Corridor
Agri Genius Exports supports West African importers and distributors through strategic sourcing across a trusted supplier network, independent quality inspection, export documentation support and container logistics coordination for staple commodity programmes.
Regional Overview
High-volume staple grain and pulse programmes for importers, distributors and wholesale buyers across West African markets.
West African buyers typically procure staple grains and pulses in repeat container volumes, with packaging and grade continuity as the deciding factors between shipments. Our role is to coordinate that continuity across the supply chain.
As an export facilitator we manage supplier identification, specification alignment, independent inspection, documentation preparation and container scheduling, so buyers work with one coordinated point of contact instead of multiple intermediaries.
Commodity Focus
Commodity categories most frequently requested by buyers in this corridor. Every category is sourced through a trusted supplier network with independent quality inspection.

Yellow and white maize for feed, starch and food processing buyers, with packaging, FOB/CIF/CFR shipment terms and full export facilitation.
Chickpeas, lentils, pigeon pea, mung bean and kidney beans sourced through certified processing partnerships, with packaging, FOB/CIF/CFR shipment terms and full export facilitation.
Pearl, foxtail, finger, little, kodo and barnyard millet sourced through certified processing partnerships, with packaging, FOB/CIF/CFR shipment terms and full export facilitation.
Country Focus
Corridor demand is concentrated in a few high-volume destinations, each with its own packaging, grade and discharge-port expectations.
Nigerian importers and distributors typically request parboiled and broken rice in 25 kg and 50 kg bags for discharge at Lagos (Apapa and Tin Can Island). We coordinate grade continuity, bag marking and independent pre-shipment inspection across repeat containers.
Ghanaian buyers discharging at Tema commonly combine rice with yellow maize and pulse volumes in the same buying cycle. Sourcing, inspection scope and documentation are coordinated per contract so repeat lots stay consistent.
Enquiries from Benin, Togo, Cote d’Ivoire, Senegal and Cameroon follow the same coordination model: written specification first, verified supplier selection, then documented shipment execution.

Shipping & Documentation
How the corridor is executed once specification and commercial terms are confirmed with the buyer.
Sailings are planned from Mundra, Nhava Sheva or Kandla to West African discharge ports. Indicative transit is confirmed by the appointed line at booking rather than promised in advance, as routing and transhipment vary by service.
Proforma invoice, commercial invoice and packing list are prepared against the agreed Incoterm. Where the buyer works on a letter of credit, the document set is aligned to the LC clauses before shipment.
Certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate and fumigation certificate are arranged through independent agencies as nominated by the buyer or their bank.
